Reid Paxton is a Partner and Structural Engineer at Capacity Engineering, specializing in residential design, maintenance, and repair of both contemporary and heritage structures. Reid also conducts condition assessments to evaluate existing structures.
A graduate of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Engineering, with high distinction, in 2021, Reid focuses on timber design but is also proficient in steel, concrete, and masonry. Reid's main hobbies include indoor/outdoor rock climbing and cycling. In the summer, you'll find him escaping into the forest for a few days of canoeing, fishing & backcountry camping and in the winter, taking to the slopes with two planks under his feet.
