Capacity Engineering was called in on a Saturday when a heritage structure in downtown Ottawa had active failure of roof members. CEL worked quickly to design temporary shoring to protect public safety. CEL then worked to design a new roof system, restore load bearing masonry columns and work to preserve as much of the heritage structure as possible.
